Benton County

Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd. in Bella Vista, holds services at 10 a.m. each Sunday, during which there is a Kid's Connect offered, as well as a nursery.

The new Women's Bible Study is studying Genesis 12-33: The Father of Israel. The cost of the book is $10. It has two study times to choose from, 9:15 to 11:15 a.m. and 5:30 to 7:15 p.m.

The Men's Bible Fellowship meets every Wednesday at 8 a.m. An evening Men's Bible Fellowship meets on the second and fourth Thursdays at 6 p.m. The study is open to all men in the community.

A number of Community Life Groups are also available. Contact the church office for details and locations.

Prayer Fellowship meets at 9:30 a.m. each Wednesday in the chapel. The Bell Choir meets at 4:30 p.m., and choir practice is at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Prayer Shawl Ministry, for anyone who enjoys knitting or crocheting, is looking for folks who enjoy making prayer shawls and squares, baby blankets and hats to minister to others. Ping Pong Group meets from 9 to 10 a.m. each Monday and Thursday in Fellowship Hall.

Bella Vista Lutheran Church, 1990 Forest Hills Blvd., holds services at 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. Sundays. Sunday School for all ages of children is at 9:45 a.m. in the lower level. Adult Bible Class is at 9:45 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

Christianity 101, led by Pastor Hass for those new to the church or in need of a refresher, is an introductory class and will take place in the library.

Vacation Bible School for children ages 4 and older will take place 5:30-8 p.m. June 17-20. Dinner for all registrants will be served nightly. Registration is open on the church website.

GriefShare, a support group for those that have lost a loved one, meets Tuesdays from 2-4 p.m. in the library. For information, call (479) 640-1508.

Adult Choir rehearsals are at 9 a.m. Saturday. Concert Choir rehearsals are 10 a.m. Saturdays to prepare for the concert "Eyes of Faith" at 4 p.m. June 23.

Quilters meet at 8:30 a.m. the second and fourth Wednesday.

The Shepherd's Food Pantry is open on Fridays from 10 a.m. until noon to provide food items to those in need in our community.

The Sonday Riders will meet at 2 p.m. June 23 in the front church parking lot. All 2, 3 and 4 wheel riders are welcome for a fun day of riding in the area.

The Lutheran Hour is broadcast every Sunday at 12:30 p.m. on radio station KURM-FM (100.3) and KURM-AM (790).

The Youth of Bella Vista Lutheran Church are gathering used ink cartridges of any kind to help pay for the National Youth Gathering for next year. There is a basket next to the door into the kitchen for your donation.

First Presbyterian Church of Bentonville at 901 N.E. J St. invites all to worship on Sunday mornings in person and online at 10:15 a.m. Bible study for adults is at 9 a.m. and choir rehearsal is at 9:15 a.m.

The FPC Food Pantry is open Saturdays from 9-11 a.m. to Benton County residents and volunteers are welcome to help on Friday and Saturday mornings.

Highland Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) Bella Vista, 1500 Forest Hills Blvd., holds services at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday. Sunday school is at 9 a.m., and fellowship time is at 10 a.m.

Millwood Christian Church is at 3450 W. Pleasant Grove Road in Rogers. Members will prepare, transport and serve a meal to the residents of the New Beginnings Shelter in Fayetteville at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 16. Anyone wishing to help support this ministry with donations of funds, food or labor are welcomed.

Village Bible Church, located at 1591 Forest Hills Blvd. in Bella Vista, will be hosting Vacation Bible School July 10-12 for all children kindergarten through fourth grade. There will be a light dinner for families of those attending, served from 5-5:25 p.m. The VBS Bible lessons, songs, science, crafts, games and snacks will take place from 5:30-8 p.m. Registration is required to attend. The church will host a blood drive 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. July 12 in the Oasis. The community is welcome to participate in this blood drive. The Oasis Food Pantry is open every Wednesday from 10 a.m.-noon.

Each Wednesday at 6:15 p.m., Village Bible hosts its Praise & Prayer service that is open to all in VBC Fellowship Hall. Children and youth, Pre-K through fifth grade, will meet in the Oasis.

The third Thursday of each month VBC meets from 7:30-8:30 a.m. at Cooper Chapel to pray for "Into the Light," a program that works to end human trafficking and bring hope to survivors. All are welcome to meet up for prayer.

A Men's Fellowship Breakfast takes place every third Saturday of the month from 8-10 a.m. All are welcome.

Carroll County

Eureka Springs Meditation Circle Self-Realization Fellowship (SRF) at 53 Mundell Road Eureka Springs meets in the historic Grassy Knob Church/School House. It will be live streaming the SRF World Wide Convocation July 15 - 20 with Monastics providing talks, kirtans, guided meditations and more. Light snacks, fellowship and a walk about the property will be available between events.

Washington County

Central United Methodist Church, 6 W. Dickson St., Fayetteville, holds worship services at 9 and 11 a.m. in person and live on Facebook, YouTube and the church website.

First United Presbyterian Church, 695 E. Calvin St. in Fayetteville, hosts Sunday services at 8:30 a.m. and at 11 a.m. The 11 a.m. service is also livestreamed on YouTube and can be accessed on the church website.

The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated at the early service. A nursery is available 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in Upper Knox. Child care is provided at both services for infants 6 weeks to 5 years old.

Sunday School classes start at 9:30 a.m. In June, children and youth meet in the Gathering Place and the Courtyard. Children will then go with Kristi to Lower Knox. Youth (grades 6-12) will go to Lower Witherspoon.

There are three classes for adults. The Adult Bible Study Group meets in Calvin 201. Thoughtful Christians meet in the church library and on Zoom. The Open Door class will resume on Sept. 8.

The Youth Group (fifth-12th graders) meets every Wednesday in Lower Witherspoon from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

There will be a retirement luncheon and celebration for the church's co-pastors Jan and Phil Butin on June 30 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

First Presbyterian Church, 100 S. Gutensohn Road, in Springdale, has Sunday services at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. Dr. Susan Arnold leads services, both in-person and livestreamed. Online services are available on YouTube and through the church website. Church van pickup is available; call the church office if you would like a ride.

Vacation Bible School will be July 8 through 12, 9 a.m. to noon at the church. The theme this year is "Sounds of Creation: Learn the Bible Through Sound." All children in the community are encouraged to register online on the church website or by calling the church office. Volunteers may also register on the web site.

Sunday School classes are discontinued until fall.

Ladies' Wednesday Morning Zoom Fellowship meets at 7 a.m.

Youth Group will be meeting periodically during the summer months. On June 30, youth and families are invited to go hiking with the Morrises. Youth are going on a mission trip July 16-22 to Memphis, Tenn. Information on future gatherings is available on the church website.

FPCS youth and church members have started a journey toward a new Congregational Garden, to experience garden education, growth and success. Plants should be in the ground in the coming weeks.

Hispanic GED Classes, under‐written by Crowder College, meet in the Rail Room for instruction, on Mondays, Tuesdays from 4 - 9 p.m. and on Fridays from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Rev. Moises Chan is First Presbyterian's Parish Associate and Director of Ministerio a la Vecindad, a partnership for Hispanic ministry with the Presbytery of Arkansas.
