Many of the large structures in the map were custom built by me (3D viewport renders follow in-engine shots). Additional environemnt art: Brian Gillies.
'Arena' is one of the few original map locations in the game, although it borrows a few elements from The Division 2. This was the first map I worked on when I joined the team and I was able to utilize my level design skills to create the original layout.

Maps are the designated areas where players fight each other in XDefiant. All maps are derived from various Ubisoft game series, including Tom Clancy's The Division, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell, Far Cry, Watch Dogs and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six. Maps are divided into 2 types: Arena and Linear. XDefiant launched with 14 maps, with 1 releasing per month during a season.
