"We keep moving forward, opening up new doors, and doing new thingsbecause we're curious, and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths. ~Walt DisneyI did a NEW thing!A young woman in the beginning stages of planning her wedding asked if I had ever decorated for a wedding. I shared with her that I had only decorated my homes but was open to trying. She graciously invited me to serve as the decorator for her wedding. The wedding was this weekend, and I captured just a few before and after images to symbolize the NEW thing and affirm the power of stepping out of old things, old norms, old patterns, old routines, and old expectations. While I am not quitting my day job 😁 , I am "moving forward, walking through open doors, doing new things, and moving down new paths.”💫 Here are just a few outcomes of trying New things:1. Personal growth and development: Trying new things often takes us out of our comfort zones and empowers us to grow and develop new skills and perspectives.2. Enhanced creativity and innovation: Experimenting with new activities, hobbies, or experiences can stimulate our creativity and inspire innovative ideas.3. Expanded horizons and opportunities: Trying new things exposes us to unfamiliar opportunities and opens doors to new experiences, people, and possibilities.4. Increased resilience and adaptability: Embracing change and trying new things can help us become more resilient and adaptable to different situations and challenges.Isaiah 43:19 says, "For I am about to do something new.
